Eating Out: Ambala Corniche, Sea View, Clifton

Ambala Corniche opened to public on 5th of February, 2011. And, I think this is one the best restaurants on the sea shore, besides Sajjad. They are all set to open their Buffet section from March 2011 with an initial price tag of PKR 999/- per head (inclusive of all taxes).

For map directions please refer to the map of my previous post because Ambala Corniche and Sajjad are very close to each other on the same road.

  1. Atmosphere looks good to me. How about the food? Any special dish that you liked?

Its good to see new places are opening in Karachi and you are sharing their photos and experiences. Please instead of putting Sea View Map show directions to that place so we could explore the new chatkharas easily. Also contact details would be helpful for reservation.

  2. I had a chance of dining at ambala corniche the newly built restaurant near sajjad in phase 8.From the ambience it is made to easily grab peoples attention and attract them towards it. It seems all the money has been spent on the exterior only as the management seems inexperienced and care free.
Eating out, especially at an expensive restaurant and getting awful food and service is very frustrating to say the least. The food was stale and had no taste in it..What a waste of money it was.
A friendly advice to everyone ,refrain from trying out ambala corniche.

  3. @Zesshan khan.. you might have a bad experience there but my point of view is totally different. I have visited ambala twice.. I liked the ambiance, service and also the food in my first visit with my wife. i then threw a party there after few months of around 25 persons. Everyone liked the ambiance, food, serving... it worth visiting and i hope you wont get disappointed..
