Young boys from unknown katchi abadis of Karachi, interior of Sindh, Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhuwa, Punjab and Azad Kashmir. Majority of them are orphans, and belong to extremely poor families. But, they are sharp, intelligent and willing to learn. All they need is a Helping Hand to guide them, to nurture their talent, to show them the path and make them lead the way!
Thanks to All Mighty Allah, that He has gifted us some selfless people like Mr. Akhlaq Ahmed, an unknown philanthropist to many of us, who has the courage to standup against all odds and pave the way for a bright future for those who have been neglected by the society in general. He has established a Foster Home, Dar ul Shafqat, where he has accommodate 24 boys with complete boarding and lodging, besides taking care of their education, health and extra curricular activities.
Fortunately we get a chance to meet Mr. Akhlaq Ahmed in Foster Home, Dar ul Shafqat. No doubt, he and his little team is doing an impressive job and that too with very little assistance from donors. We were all impressed with their approach towards shaping the future of Pakistan and nurturing the future young leaders. Indeed a great service to the nation!
In the end, I would like to divert your attention towards a Call… for all of us to respond… to strengthen these Helping Hands… as much as we can… to put our share in the effort of shaping the future of our motherland… Pakistan.

From the video description:
“Yusuf Estes uses his witty undertone to relay the importance of delivering dawah in today's society. This "Wake up" initiative is inspired by the never ceasing challenge of delivering the message of the One True God and your role in every instance of interaction with Muslims and Non-Muslims alike. Tune in to this entertaining lecture conveying the underlying principle that every Muslim should be conscious of driving.”

This time around, we did make it to the Mubarak Village, but, the sea was so rough that 16 of out of 20 vomit during our deep sea fishing attempt. This was my most dangerous trip so far out in the deep sea because the waves were quite high and we were on small launches. Any how, we did manage to catch some, but as anticipated, didn’t had a big hand this time too. Better luck next time inshaAllah !
